Global Ground Support Awarded Order from City of Charlotte
Global Ground Support, LLC, a subsidiary of Air T, was awarded a 3-year contract from the City of Charlotte, North Carolina in excess of $8.1 million for the supply of Global’s “UltimateONE 2200” Extended Reach (XR) aircraft deicing vehicles. The first order under this contract was received on October 4, 2022 for $2.4 million with an expected completion mid-2023. The deicers will have a working height of 57 feet and will be equipped with Global’s Single Operator System and AirPlus forced air technology.
