Field Service Support
When remote technical support cannot get your ground support equipment back into service, we have experienced field service technicians who will help you troubleshoot and fix the problem at your site. Contact our Service Manager at (913) 780-0300 x3910 for Field Service.
Operator & Maintenance Training
Either at our factory or your site, we provide world-class training on the proper maintenance and operation of your Global-manufactured ground support equipment. Global Ground Support provides two and four-day classes and we will customize content and presentation of the material to meet your specific needs.
Preventive Maintenance
Global Ground Support offers a turn-key PM service for Global and Simon-manufactured deicers. For a fixed fee, Global will send a factory-trained technician to your site to perform a complete Preventive Maintenance service on your ground support equipment solution.
Equipment Repair & Overhaul
Global has extensive experience in repairing, overhauling and refurbishing Global, Simon, and Trump deicers. Depending on your ground support equipment-support needs and the condition of the equipment, Global can completely overhaul the unit or do just enough to bring the unit back into service for another season.
On-site Maintenance Service
Our extensive experience and capabilities in maintaining aircraft deicing operations can also be applied in season-long equipment maintenance services. Working on your site, our staff of factory-trained technicians, backed by the technical and logistics expertise of our ground support equipment factory, ensures your operations are never disrupted by unplanned equipment downtime.
Ground Support Equipment Leasing
Working with our financial partners, Global Ground Support is able to provide flexible short and long-term leases with either $1 buyout or Fair Market Value buyout options at the end of the ground support equipment (GSE) lease period.
Optional Coverage
Annual Check: This is an extensive check that identifies the proper operation of all ground support equipment systems and needed repairs to the unit overlooked during the season. We perform an annual check on each ground support equipment unit at the stations.
Semi-Annual Check: Global performs a semi-annual check on each ground support equipment unit. The purpose of this check is to make sure all systems are operational. This check consists of the combination of the daily, weekly, and monthly checks recommended by Global.
Monthly Check: On a scheduled monthly basis, Global will provide a service technician to perform a monthly check on the ground support equipment (GSE) units. The customer provides all parts necessary to perform this check. The price per unit will be lower if there is more than one Global unit at a station.
Service Technician Availability: Emergency Assistance from the factory on the next available flight.
Global On-Site Support: We operate “on-site” ground support equipment service. This support is available and is quoted once we determine the location and quantity of units at each station.
Global Training Contract Support: We train and provide support to a local maintenance contractor or identify a contractor to maintain a station. This can be quoted once we determine the location and quantity of ground support equipment units at each station.
Global will provide specific pricing detail once the locations and numbers of units at each station are determined.
Parts Support:
Global is willing to supply a stock of recommended spare parts at each station or at major hubs to ensure an immediate supply for emergency repairs. This inventory will be placed on consignment for the first season to determine usage and then the parts will be available for purchase at our most discounted price.
